FrankCrum Appoints Michael Webb as CISO and Head of Enterprise IT Operations
Newly Created Executive Role Strengthens Enterprise Technology, Security, and Operational Resilience Across the FrankCrum Organization
CLEARWATER, Fla. — April 8, 2026 — The FrankCrum family of companies is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Webb as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Senior Vice President of IT Operations. This newly created executive role spans the full FrankCrum enterprise, including FrankCrum, a Professional Employer Organization; FrankCrum Staffing; Frank Winston Crum Insurance; and FrankCrum Insurance Agency—reflecting the organization’s continued investment in strengthening its enterprise technology capabilities, cybersecurity posture, and operational resilience.
In this role, Michael will provide executive leadership over the FrankCrum enterprise’s cybersecurity program and IT operations. He will be responsible for ensuring that the systems, infrastructure, and security controls that power the organization are reliable, resilient, and protected against an evolving threat landscape. Michael will oversee threat detection and response, identity and access management, data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity across cloud and on-premises environments. He will also partner closely with executive leadership and the Enterprise CIO to ensure that FrankCrum’s technology and security capabilities support the service commitments and operational needs of each business.

Michael brings more than 20 years of progressive IT leadership experience, most recently serving as CIO at SAFE Federal Credit Union, a $2B+ institution, where he led all information technology, information security, software development, and networking functions across 21 offices and two data centers. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Information Security and CIO at Sharonview Federal Credit Union and held senior IT leadership roles at Family Trust Federal Credit Union and Sompo International. Throughout his career, Michael has built and led enterprise security programs in organizations entrusted with highly sensitive client and member data, developing a proven track record of strengthening security posture, modernizing infrastructure, and ensuring operational resilience in complex, high-stakes environments.

Michael holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, both from Winthrop University. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and a Certified Credit Union Executive Manager (CEM), and holds numerous technical certifications, including CCNA and VCP.
